Last time, Aiden became a really cute toddler, Caleb came out for a few visits, Whisper continued to gain promotions at work and advanced her gardening skill, and ended with the birth of Brayan.
Whisper grabbed some guy named Otto off the street and made nice with him.
Aiden is having issues. With a new brother sharing his room, he never gets any sleep. Brayan has this bad habit of crying. ALL. THE. TIME.
It’s getting annoying, fast.
The next day the house gets a makeover and Aiden gets his own room (for now).
This is Aiden’s fifth fail in under two hours, hence why he got his own room.
Also, I was trying to give him a bath, but it wouldn’t work. I found out that you cannot give a toddler a bath if you have an infant on the same floor. So, if you do come across this issue, stick the baby outside or on a different floor. Poor kid didn’t have a bath in two days because Whisper kept putting him in the bath and yanking him right out.
Brayan: I’m too cute for everyone to hate me .
The garden club lady ran straight over to him to give him a bottle, but he aged up on his own as soon as she got over there. He rolled Independent (I never mentioned it, but Aiden got silly).
He grew up starving, so spaghetti becomes his first big boy meal.
A new bathroom and now he can go potty in there.
Aiden ages up into a cute kid. He is pissed off he didn’t get a cake (I never got a “It’s his birthday” message. He is a Whiz Kid and Geek. He got his dad’s hair, Whisper’s skin and eyes.
It was a little late to start on his aspiration because it’s time for Whisper to go to work.
Today consisted of building the satellite and working on the rocket ship some more.
She went home to bed, so Aiden had to pull Denim in off the street.
Seance called and woke her up. He wanted to celebrate her recent promotion and she said yes.
Whisper: Why the hell did I come here?
I am asking myself the same question. I think she would have been better off staying home.
Whisper: Your phone looks mighty tasty.
Seance: You humans are so weird.
Lace Moonglow walked in, so of course Whisper had to go say hello. The bartender went and stood outside and now there is a line to order drinks. I am hoping she returns fast enough to get Whisper to order some food, if not, she will have to go home.
Luckily the bartender did get back to the bar fairly quickly and Whisper‘s hunger issues were resolved.
When Whisper first moved to town, she was invited to join Partihaus. This is their first meeting.
They only gathered for an hour, but Whisper heads home happy. I just hope she doesn’t pass out on the way.
Five hours have passed between that last pic and this one. The house was just bad and the lot was too small. They evicted and bulldozed a 50×50 lot and I built this. Most of that time was spent trying to download outdoor areas from the gallery. I did not understand that they would be on foundations because the house is. Stupidest thing I ever saw.
Whisper ran out of money, so hopefully we can get the plain front yard taken care of soon.
Aiden does his very first homework.
New big boy room! Brayan works on his communication.
Then craps himself.
We immediately send him to the potty.
Whisper made more food, much to the happiness of two hungry kids.
By the time Whisper was ready to eat, all the plates were stinking the place up.
It’s time to pick a spouse and it is down to either Magnus Dill or Otto Leon.
The new welcome committee shows up while we greet both man options. Aiden gets Eric Lewis to help him get his chess game for his aspiration.
Otto mourns Caleb, so Whisper consoles him.
He does accept a flirt.
This leads them to the bedroom.
The second try was the charm. Otto ended up having a career as a Stay-at-home dad, and he is single. I was not about to bring an unneeded kid to the house, so he will just contribute to the baby list.
Aiden snatches Magnus for a chess game the second he said he had to leave.
She impresses Magnus with her cooking, although she herself is feeling a bit ill.
Whisper: Did he really just switch seats to get closer to me?
I think so!
She asks him to move in and he agrees. There has been no romance between them, so they will have to get that done over the weekend.
She pulls out her satellite dish, but nothing came of it.
Career: Level 10 (YES!) Tech Guru.
Aspiration: Musical Genius (no milestones complete)
Traits: Creative, Geek, Muser, Insane, and Spice Hound.
Skills: Cooking (5), Fishing (4), Gardening (4)*, Charisma (2), Programming (1)**, Logic (1), Comedy (1), Fitness (1), and Video Gaming (1).
*He got one level for helping Whisper in the garden. In game, he has been in the family for two days.
**He got the level when he moved in and was sent to do his daily work goal.
Do to the foundation issues, I just remade the rooms a grabbed from the gallery.
Only one of the two hours that Whisper read to Aiden as a toddler counted towards his aspiration. Magnus was more than happy to read to Aiden while Whisper got some much needed rest.
Brayan got a hold of a high energy food plate. Like he needs more oomph. LOL
His attention bar was red, so Magnus went to play with Brayan. It didn’t even budge.
He did manage to finish learning how to potty!
His attention bar was still red, so he went around the house waking everyone up. Aiden has a short chat with Brayan.
Whisper’s garden was finally brought out of the family inventory. I forgot all about it. She is just now completing her 3rd milestone.
Aiden’s aspiration requirement is to do homework two times while being focused. He has no school yet, so he is on the science thing learning potions.
Brayan was going potty when I realized how hungry he was. I put a plate out for him and he headed into the nursery. Whisper walked through the whole house to eat with him.
Somehow Aiden banging the dinosaur into his face got him this 3rd creative point. Brayan is in the back playing on his tablet.
Goddammit. Magnus gets a birthday pop up, so Whisper had to give him the Youth Potion she has had saved up for weeks.
Whisper moves on to the last milestone. Her old cowplant died, so she has to grow another. She is level 9 in gardening still.
Whisper finally has enough money to waste on the Wishing Well. She runs over to make her first wish.
IT WORKED! The Wishing Well was in place less than a day when I noticed the death head thingy. She ran out to wish for a child and out this little guy popped.
Woo and he is appropriately named too!
Now that I know how it is done, if you get your wish for a ghost child, this will count towards your pregnancy. Maybe one day we will get ghost pregnancies, but who knows when that will be.
I woke up Aiden so that he could try too.
That’s a huge gain, and so totally opposite what Cody got. Does the well change moods after each wish? I’ll have to test that out.
Oh it does. He is back to all wishes are death. I had Aiden back slowly away and head in to bed.
I’m really bummed about how EA did the ghosts in this version. It’s just another thing they failed at. In Sims 2, you can cheat a pregnancy with a ghost for this challenge. In sims 3, you can have ghost babies, but in this game, you can’t do either. Therefore, I feel justified that the first ghost child you get, will count towards the 26 pregnancies, have an alphabet name and will contribute to any points from child-move out.
